Shivram Tabibu, Vice President

Shivram Tabibu is the Vice President of OSU Automation Society for the tenure 2016-2017. He is a graduate student at OSU pursuing Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering since Fall 2015. He is also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the ‘Introduction to Electrical Engineering’ and ‘Pulse and digital Techniques’ Labs for EET department at OSU. Shivram received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Medicaps Institute of Technology and Management, Indore, India in 2012. Thereafter, he worked as Assistant Manager in Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Research & Development) in the automobile electrical & electronics division for three years with focus on software development and hardware development for vehicle electronic control unit. He was also part of electrical development for hybrid vehicle, battery management system and software validation for SUVs. His current research area in OSU is control systems with special focus on PCB hardware design for Autopilot controller, IR sensor integration with UAV and software algorithm development for Autonomous systems.

He understands the important role that automation plays in various field sectors and industries. In addition to academics, his job as a Vice President for OSUAS is to support the team in planning and organizing various technical and social events. He is also responsible for preparing Quarterly reports for OSUAS and send them to International Society of Automation. Moreover, he is also responsible for preparing and releasing the Annual Newsletter for OSUAS. Apart from OSUAS involvement, he is also involved with GPSGA in the Communications and Publications Committee.
